It works well, and is pretty low profile. Personally I had a smaller one and that left the whole bottom of cabinet wide open so used it as shelf for all my home tech. The locks work great, my little ones were never able to open it, believe me when I say they tried. It works just fine and has virtually no wear, rust, dents, the paint is not fading or chipping off.
